SEC. Displays:

Unit displays battery Voltage on channel  “ 0 “.

First 2 seconds is the voltage at last reset. ( batt. Under load ).

Shows value in memory for selected channel.

Numbers “blink” when time has been changed with out writing to memory.

Write Switch   “ W “:

Pushing switch writes the time setting into memory and stops blinking the SEC.     Window.

Off Time Function:

Each channel has the ability to be shut off.  The shut off time can be set to a specific time or to an “on time” of another channel.

Off times are displayed  with a channel number followed by a   :

Example: off time for channel  A  is displayed   A :

By scrolling the off time seconds or tenths columns to a blank digit the timer will display the channel # that will turn off the output.  You can scroll the hundredths buttons to change this setting.   To go from specific channel to time simply press the seconds or tenths buttons.  Always hit the write  W  button to save any changes.

If the off time is set to less than the on time, channel will not turn off.

The timer is sent with all off times set to 7.99 sec.

WARNING:  If your timer is configured for use with an MSD Six Shooter, you will find a 2 pin red amp connector at the end of one of the harnesses.  This connector is a 12v power supply for the 8168 Timing Computer.  Do Not plug the red connector into the 8168 2 pin amp connector with gray and black wires.  This will cause both units to fail.

NOTES:

·       Do not use channel “0”

·       Do not input voltage greater than 16 volts.

·       Voltage input is the voltage output to device.

·       Channel output draw can not exceed   3 amps

·       Timer resets itself after 8 sec.

When the timer is activated, the screen will go blank, this is by design so you can tell the timer has started.  After 8 seconds it will return to the battery voltage screen.
